I used lacing tape, it’s nice and grippy. One turn around the actuator pin and then tied it to the engine mount. Once the pump is in place untie the tape and it comes right out.

Mine has been doing that for a while and I think i just now fixed it.
The discs were warped and that was overheating the calipers/pads even when not using the brakes.
Replacing the discs only didn ... |
