Barry,

Thanks for the tips. To move the arm with a coat hangar, I assume you have to go through the filler opening and under or over the spare to reach the arm. Do you have any tips on how to do ...

The logs indicate that the fuel tank float has stuck before, so I'm
leaning towards that as the most likely problem. I seem to remember a
local shop being able to unstick these floats. I assume ...

Harley,

At that price, I would be shocked if they were American made or of good
quality. All of the headsets in that price range seem to fall apart in
a few years with moderate use.

I'd ...

Per horsepower, that is about the same cost as a factory-new O-320
(they said over 100,000hp). But the turbine would probably use a lot
less fuel and FAR, FAR less maintenance than 625 O-320 en ...

Rob,

According to my friend, it was actually below the green at high RPM (indicating 30psi, low redline is 32psi). The warning light on the panel illuminated, so I think it is probably lower than ...

A friend of mine just bought an Arion Lightning LSA with the 3300 engine. At cruise RPM, the oil pressure is fine, maybe 45 PSI. At idle it is fine, but I'm not sure what PSI he told me. The proble ...

It is pretty simple to do this if you use a fuel pump and relay coil
that require the same voltage. Use a pressure sensor to control the
relay. Connect the relay output to the fuel pump AND to ...

Here are some direct links to the bonded tubes if anyone still wants to look at them (see the end of my message). I don't think broken bonds are the problem though. I think it was just the bronze sp ...

I should probably add that the nose gear boot was torn, which could've let some moisture in right on the bracket/torque tube in question. A new boot is on the way.

I crawled under the panel today to have a look at the torque tubes. The bonded joints definitely do not appear to be broken, and each side of the tube moves together. The squeaking appeared to be co ...

Wow. Absolutely great information Ian. It'll be fairly easy to diagnose now, the hard part is just crawling under the panel. Thanks for the great information and pictures everyone.
