 When I looked at length it was no longer than 3 feet battery to starter motor. 
 All your drawings had 4AWG  not sure why that was and so I just had to ask.

 I will leave the strut alone as I can always drill it later. 
 I have also made a ring to attach for steering.

	I am tinkering with the same idea but will use the smaller dimmer from aircraft spruce.. Saved money on the lights and will use it to spend on the dimmer.
