Just because metal fused aircraft needs external vhf antennae, does
not mean it is required for glass aircraft. It only adds drag.

Is there a reason you are reporting Kias?
TAS is a more rational measurement for
those altitudes for performance and comparison.
Remember KIAS falls with altitude and TAS increases

There are NO rapid temperature changes. Not physically possible.
How much energy do you think is available to heat and COOL the coolant
through wide swings.
