Many people JUST inspect the airframe for damage after a strike. Not a
good idea.

Some strikes magnetize the engine components (crankshaft, bearings, etc.)
causing metal in the oil to stick.

Gwayne,

We've overhauled several and converted them for RV-10 use. They appear
to work well.
If you wanted to up the HP, you could even increase it with very little
effort.
