Does anyone out there know how to create a grass
landing strip out of what is currently just a wild
grass field? Charles

Rick,
I'm still in Houston at the moment, will get back
on Sunday. Will
probably try to fly on Monday and/or Tuesday,
weather premitting. The rest
of your interior was supposed to go in on Monday or
Tuesday of this week.
Anxious to see how that looks and now that your seat
warmers are supposed to
be installed, how those work. Nick was going to
order some new carb jets
and install those if they got there so that the fuel
burn would get better
and the top end would run smoothly. I got the plane
back to about 46-47
knots before it stalled in the clean configuration,
but would like to do
that again to get an exact number. It broke very
lightly, straight ahead,
and once the nose dropped to level it was at flying
speed again. Nothing
really new to report yet. The plane has about 7.5
hours on it so far. The
weather is looking like it could be bad some next
week, but as soon as I get
some clear days I'm planning on putting 5 hours on
the plane per day. 15
hours is the next head torque, and at that time Nick
will probably trim the
baffles a little more. I'm going to get him the
CHT's in writing and which
cylinders so that he can try to even it all out. So
far things are going
pretty well though. Will write more when I get back
and have some new info.
Brian W.

Hi folks,

I'm looking for a copy of a noise certificate,
issued for an Esqual with a
Jabiru 3300 engine and a Sensenich W64ZK-51 prop.
This copy would simplify things a lot for me here in
Europe.

Thanks and best regards

Daniel
PH-DWD, ready to fly but missing a noise certificate

Daniel,

I don't know of another Esqual with that prop flying
in Europe. There are a
few in the USA but no certificate is required.

Pete
