FYI/Heads-up:
EAA 1083 is planning an RV rally at RUQ on 3/25
(http://airnav.com/airport/ruq). Agenda is still coming together.
Aircraft/project showcase, forum, fly-by, "why did you do it that way?",
"how can I get started?" type events/atmosphere is expected. Dinner will be
served and overnight accommodations/camping are available (field test that
tent before SNF!).
Hope you can make it. More later.

Larry,
We are planning our annual Palmetto RV Flyin Cookout on March 25th in
Columbia. I was just about to put out the notices. It sounds like the
rally at RUQ is a bigger event. Maybe we should cancel to prevent a
conflict.

It's the first year, so it's hard to say. You've had a pretty good showing
at your cookout from what I've seen the two times I've gone.
I was told today that RUQ was a dinner event, yours is lunch, right? Could
they both happen? I'll wear my loose pants....

Just so you know, chapter 309 is having there Fly-In on 3/25 as well.

EAA 242 in Columbia has already publicized (to its membership) the RV FlyIn
Cook out for the 25th. So I think we have to go ahead with it. I sure hope
we haven't created conflicts. It certainly was not our intention. I was
just waiting for the right time to send notices to SERV, ORVators, TeamRV,
etc. I guess I should send the notices soon or there may be even more
confilcts.
