Hi Torgeir,
Do you know if there is also an owners manual for Kitfox III as a PDF ?
I would be very interested in it.
Cheers
Werner

Hi Jeff,
Happy New Year!
As far as I'll know there is no "operating manual" for the model II,
however, there is an "owners manual".
In addition there's an "owners update" - Landing "The Tail Dragger - Part
1 (by Gerald L. Pennington)", made by "Deney Aerocraft Company". This is
some old stuff(91), but much interesting. Well, I've got a couple of this
"Owners Newsletters" -maybe those could be put up for everyone to see??
The best "flying" reference for the Kitfox is Ed Downs; "How to fly a
Kitfox" - (no doubt).
I'm sure that Ed might know where to get a copy, hey- anyone know the e-mail
for Ed????
I've made a pdf of the owners manual for Kitfox II, go here for download:
http://kitfox.net/images/Kitfox II.pdf
Cheers
Torgeir.

A couple of the recent messages reminded me that I really don't have a
Model 2 operating manual. I have a copy of a model 4 manual with plans
of tailoring it to model two operations, but I would rather have the
original. Can anybody hook me up with a model 2 operating manual? I
anticipate re-launch of my refurbished sn/672 in March.

Hi Werner,
Well-, I do not have a model 3 manual, however, if we compare the
different Kitfox models- the difference between model II and III is
nothing much to talk about - if we think about "typical" flight
characteristic. The model III can weight a 100 lbs (total take off
weight) more than the model II. There "might" be more difference between
each builders setup with same model than between the factory specification
for those two models.
Also, -all the SB (service bulletins) and SL (service letters) that I've
seen is valid for both, -model II and III. I've got a document about the
"real" difference between a model II and model III.
Hmm. The CG range is the same, the speed limitations (factory specs) is
equal.
Maybe Michel have this manual.
Hi Michel, your reply is needed.....
Cheers.
Torgeir.
