John, What happened? Every time I got to see him, he seemed so full of life and was in pretty good shape.
What a total bummer........ He was a very fun guy and totally enjoyable to visit with. Very sorry to receive this info..

Paul had lived on Beaver Island several years and it was a sanctuary for Paul. Paul was one of the greatest promoters of the Tailwind airplane and spread the news around the world. He always had the time to stop and visit with Tailwind folks and their projects and flying aircraft with an eye for efficiency and speed and would readily share his ideas with the Tailwind Gang as he traveled around the country. He came to the house on several occasions with ideas for my project.

Jim said that he is working with the bank in Charlevoix in setting up a college trust fund for Paul's daughter, Alexandria, who is three years old. More information on this as the details become available.

Please send your condolences to Paul's wife Brittina at Paul's e-mail address IsIPilot(at)aol.com (IsIPilot(at)aol.com) she will greatly appreciate this. Sincerely with much sadness. Farmer John

I believe that Paul's wife's name is Bettina. I think that the memorial trust fund for Alexandria is a great idea.

I didn't notice the first time but it is IslPilot(at)aol.com (IslPilot(at)aol.com) and I see that typed comes out the same as what John D has. The first charecter is a capital "eye" I, not a lower case "ell". In the address line it shows different, in text it shows the same. I think.
On another note, the Baraboo Tailwind tee shirts that we have done, instead of selling at $10each as originally hoped, how about selling them at $15 each and we will send $5 each to the Alexandria Baron college fund that Jim Lindner is setting up?
