After talking with the MT people at Oshkosh last summer I doubt they will
make the effort to do another STC for the grumman community. The grumman
community kept after them to get the Electric constant speed prop STC'd and
then after they got it done the Grumman community only complained about the
price and did not buy any props. When The MT people hear the word "Grumman"
they have a negative response. Pretty much the same story with other
vendors who have tried to help out the grumman community. Just too many
gripy cheapskates in the grumman gang.....

Back on a Grumman track. I hear that MT will be offering a line of fixed
pitch props in the US. Hopefully, they'll offer something for the
Grummans.

Hey Ned, speaking of, are you still interested in saving some money and put a
down payment on the new cowling. Or, are you going to wait until the price
goes up?
Offer expires on Friday, 3/17/06.
Just in case you all wanted to get in on the cowling deal. The first 5
cowlings will be sold at $6,000 each. The catch is, I get to put them on. Why?
I've been trying to write an installation manual for the cowling. It's
pretty involved. Certainly not for the novice.
