why? I assure you that nut plates is the best for anything...
The only thing is the work involved on Fiberglass, you would have to reinforce the area
etc... that is why I wanted to know a different way..

I used high quality sheet metal screws placed about every 3" with a dab of RTV on the tip. Start out with #4x1/2" if the hole starts to open up and the screw losens move up to the next size. I think he meant OTHER Than nutplates or screws.

I said that I wouldn't trust any attachment WITHOUT NUT PLATES OR SCREWS unless you want to bond them on to the skin or rivet them. That will make them a little difficult to remove.
