Hello George, I'm going to take your advice and install a fuel return line. I don't have a filter between the mechanical pump and the carb. Its a straight line. Should I attach the return line before the mechanical pump or after it? I use two facet pumps, one from each fuel tank to keep positive pressure to the mechanical pump. Jim Williams

my moose fuel tanks have 4 fittings on the root ribs. 2 smaller ones up front for fuel
site gauge and cross venting.
there's a larger one mid tank along bottom edge and a similar sized one near trainilg edge
just fore of the flap hinge attach bracket.
Plan to install finger strainers and main fuel line to this second most rearward fitting.
anybody know what the mid tank fitting is used for?

Evan,

I've never seen 4 fittings on the Root Rib, usually just 3 on the vertical side of the root rib and 1 other fitting (water drain) on the under side.  Is this what you have? If not, can you provide a picture and I should be able to make some sense out of it for you.

Cheers,
Jeff
