Van's Fuel sender

Tonight I began to install the fuel sender unit in the
Right tank, it appears to be exactly the same unit as
the one in the Left tank. Not a "flopped" version or
mirror copy. It appears that the factory miss-labeled
a left hand version as a right and boxed it as a right
so I have two left side senders. Can anyone tell me
for sure that they are each supposed to angle down
towards the bottom of the tank when installed?

Here are a couple pictures of the left and right senders when installed.

Thanks for the pictures. That is what mine looks like,
you see the back side of the sender on the right tank.
That is how I installed mine too.
