I am in need of a 37 degree flaring tool to flare the 3/16" aluminum lines from my Dynon AOA pitot. I have used a flaring tool a lot of years ago, but don't know what to look for. Does anybody have a recommendation on where to buy one or a make and model that works well? It seems that a lot of them are 45 degree flares. Are they used in auto brake lines or water pipes or something? Also some of them are listed as a double flare. Do I need a single flare? Do local hardware stores or auto supply stores sell them?

I got my 37 degree flaring on eBay. Give it a try...

Don
I warmed up the plastic pitot line a little bit and was able to slide it
over the Dynon leads. With hose clamps, it is very air tight.

Check with your local EAA Chapter. Many like mine have a tool library. You
could also borrow one for the little you need it. Once done, unless you
damage a tube, you will never need it again.
