Pulsar Builders,
I am parting out my Pulsar3 purchased from Skystar Aviation in 1998. It
has a Rotax 914 (which has been sold), a night VFR panel complete, Cleveland
dual brake system, axles, wheels and tires, Whelen Nav lights and strobes,
and an in-flight adjustable Ivoprop hub and controls for a 2 or 3 blade
configuration. If you have interest in something, let me know, and I will
provide more specific Info.

Max: I am in the process of building a Pulsar III. What parts of the fuselage and wings, wheel pants etc do you have. Was the airplane damaged? To what extent. I am located in MOses Lake, Washington and was thinking about spares. Thanks in advance. Cheers

Larry,
I had to make a night forced landing in a very remote part of Idaho. I had gone off course and didn't realize it until I was nearly out of fuel. I was unable to make it back to an airport. My Pulsar ran just fine untill it ran out of fuel. I was unhurt in the landing thanks to the "crash tolerant" design.

Thanks George

I ordered the spinner from Aircraft Spruce, and it fit perfectly. I wish I could find the part number, but it was just one they had in stock.

I've ridden in both Max's and Bernie's planes and am sure they are both the Magnum prop with two blades. Ivo recommended that configuration for the 914 while they suggested the Medium with three blades (smaller chord blades) for the 80 and 100 hp Rotax engines.

Regarding the prop spinner; I ordered mine from Spruce. It was the BN2. Traced the shape of the prop and cut out the openings. Saved the cutouts and made the backside for the back of the prop. Was going to have it polished alunimum but lost control, the spinner got slightly dented so it got painted.

I have seen the picture of your prop hub, but I cannot tell what kind it is. I may be interested in the radiator also.

Max's build preceeded me by at least a year. I decided on the same prop as Max because the bugs had been worked out. Max and IVO had resolved what combination of hub blade size and number of blades were optimum out the issues so i bought the same setup as Max.

Larry,
I had to make a night forced landing in a very remote part of Idaho. I had gone off course and didn't realize it until I was nearly out of fuel. I was unable to make it back to an airport. My Pulsar ran just fine untill it ran out of fuel. I was unhurt in the landing thanks to the "crash tolerant" design.

No, but thanks for the reply. If you can I would like to know what happened to your aircraft. Thanks, Larry

Larry,
I'm afraid there isn't much left of the fuselage and wings. All was damaged enough that they aren't worth the effort (and weight) to fix.  I do have the upper cowl piece. I have a complete panel that was designed and assembled by Gulf Coast Avionics. Are you interested in any of that?

Max: I am in the process of building a Pulsar III. What parts of the fuselage and wings, wheel pants etc do you have. Was the airplane damaged? To what extent. I am located in MOses Lake, Washington and was thinking about spares. Thanks in advance. Cheers
