Hi all - Has anyone gotten their Dynon D-10 to read out the tach rpm for a Lightspeed Plasma II Plus. The light speed is wired as per the instruction, Input plug, with pin 6 for the signal and pin 13 to ground. I have a Mag on the left and the Lightspeed on the right. While doing a Mag check, the Dynon displays the Mag rpm fine but the readout drops to 0 when I switch to the Lightspeed.
Dynon says they need a minimum 10 volt signal, and Light speed puts out 10 volts. I guess the voltages don't quite match. When switched to both, the Dynon reads the only one working, which is the Mag.
Other than the readout problem, the Lightspeed works fine.
Anyone have a fix for getting the Dynon to display the Lightspeed?
Thanks - Herb

Hi Herb,

I had a similar problem. I have dual Light Speeds and a Dynon Skyview. Initially I had zero RPM with both ignitions. After consulting with Klaus at Light Speed and the guys at Dynon it was confirmed my Light Speeds did not have the required 10 volts. I sent them back to Klaus and he quickly upgraded them and sent them back. They work fine now.

Klaus can confirm the voltage output if you send him the serial number on your Light Speed box.
