Good day,
I was just advised by my AME that my prop was up for its 10 year
overhaul. I was a bit disappointed as I has just purchased the plane
last year (from a crate from China) and “assumed” it was a new prop.
Apparently on IRAN in China, they did replace the prop on retirement,
but that was 2003. I am guessing with the comparatively low price of
a standard CJ-prop, an overhaul is somewhat pointless. My question is
as follows: What do I need to purchase/replace to meet the overhauled
requirement? Any leads on where to get it and approx cost?
Thanks,
Phil Nicholson

CAll me Phil.... A new prop from China is 3500 usd. The piece of shit that overhauled my prop and did a crap job in BC charged 3500. sooooo

You might want to talk to HOPE aero, however,,,, becareful, as I've had "experience" with them.

Sadly we are afflicted with too few Aviation related mechanics in Canada, they suck, and generally overcharge for shoddy work.

As I said,, there are definately options so call me
