Hi Jay…

This is a huge help.

How did you get it to lay flat as you go around the nose? Also, did you cut out the bottom side of the material as you go over the spar? DO you use glue to hold it down? IF so, what kind and at what point did you apply it?

Steve,

The flange that touches the fuselage stayed pretty tight by itself. If it flares as it goes around the nose, I have heard that a little "nudging" with a heat gun might help. I did have to glue down the flange that lays on the wing in just a few places. Otherwise, no glue needed.  On the bottom, I stopped it just short of the spar.
