I am based at 01J Hilliard Air Park about 20 miles NNW of Jacksonville, FL. Actual elevation is 59' ( Turf ). Trying to get everything ready to go to the annual Thomasville, GA Fly-in on Oct. 11, 12, & 13.

I will fill one tank with 100 LL and experiment with fuel burn and EGT's. I have to fly over 50 miles to get Av gas under $5. Most airports nearby are over $6.50 / gal.

WOW!  Bobby:
AvGas under $5/Gal.  Here in NJ we are $6 to $7/Gal.  Of course NJ is part of that YELLOW area that the 'All knowledgeable EPA' says is the pollution zone and will not let us get away from ethanol MoGas.  And to think - 15 years of an EAA STC for MoGas and at least a 1,000 gallons of MoGas and 1,000's of miles of MoGas but NOW the EPA in their vast emptiness of knowledge says MoGas is no good and AvGas is no good.  Only obama gas is good!  As long as you don't mind the smell.  SORRY!
I went off track a bit.  It just ruffles my feathers.  SORRY.
Anyway, You will find no difference between AvGas Vs MoGas when you look at your CHT's and EGT's.  When you switch tanks do not go by your first readings - let them stabilize, as one gas in the lines, carb and header if you use one has to be burnt up.  Also make sure your boost pump is off when you take your readings.  I would give it 5 minutes to stabilize. I would be very interested in the data you collect.   I have noticed that when my boost pump is on my fuel flow is higher and my CHT's & EGT's drop slight amount.  BUT! Usually that is only when I forget to shut off the boost pump.

Greetings from S.W. FL. I, and other enlighten Pilots use REC gas (at)3.75 per gal. Gas, Jabiru power plants and lawn mowers use, never
have to pull the plugs except check the gap and confirm how prudent you are. Most all motor boats use it now. At selected indipendent
gas stations and marine facilities. Bob Haas, 3300 and 2200 Jabiru powered aircraft.
