Way back in late 70s when I learned to fly we only had text books.
Now there is so much media I don't know witch is best for my son who wants to get private.
Any suggestions on DVDs and any for sale?

Charles,

All of the DVD's that are out there are pretty good, if not excellent. I've always used the King Schools and found them to excellent. Like you though, my early training was always through books, but times have changed. I think some of the vendors give free samples. Have your son try a couple of them and see what he prefers.

I used King School also. I found them very easy and fast to learn from.
