Hi Guys
It's been a long time since I looked at the Kis list.
For those that don't know I lost my wife Annie to kidney cancer last September. She made IFR flying possible for me. Now that she is gone I have replaced 3 of my 6 pack instruments with a Garmin G3X along with the G28 servos ( pitch & roll ). With this system coupled to my Garmin 430 wass I can once again fly IFR. The system is fantastic. It can fly a fully coupled approach and also fly the missed approach and hold. It is just starting to warm up here in Minnesota so much flying is in order. I do fly in the winter but it needs to be 20 deg. or more to enjoy it.

Sorry to hear about your wife.
The new avionics is just amazing. I wish the airliner I fly had near the display the 3X has.
It is so nice to fly cross country with an autopilot. Have fun....

Bob
Really sorry to hear about Annie. Bev and I can only guess how much you miss her.
If you haven't been following the Kis list, you may not have heard that I decided at age 80 that it was about time to stop flying and so sold my KIS Cruiser to Galin Hernandez. He seems to be really enjoying the plane and has made some very nice improvements including a very high tech glass cockpit.
We have heard from our Minnesota relatives about the brutal winter you have had. Like our fellow snow birds, we have heard that the snow is melting and so are about to migrate back home from Sarasota in a few days.

Bob,

very sorry to hear about your wife.
I've bought a KIS Cruiser project from Ted Scott and I'm planning to install a G3x (maybe the touch version now....). It's now being built in Brazil.
Would you post a picture of your new panel for me?
Thanks,

Fabricio
