That`s it! ADF is steel usable in Russia.
And my Lightning is probably first with Variable Pitch Propeller.

Hello Roman,
Congratulations on completing your Lightning and making the first flight. I'm sure you will enjoy flying lots of hours in the future.

I'd like to include any photos of RA-2129G in the next Lightning Newsletter, so if possible, please send them to me.

Blue Skies,
Buz Rich

Hey Buz,

Roman attached the pics to the matronics website, I'm reattaching them to the mailing list, let me know if that works
Best,
Max
PS Do you want me to send you a write up of the trip we took after the Homecoming? Unfortunately with the kid and all, I completely forgot to take any Homecoming pictures, so I'll need someone to fill in the blanks

Hi Max,
Yes, please. I think a short write up about your trip back to FL, via GA and NYC would be great. I have 2 or 3 photos from the Homecoming that show you, Olena, and Liz. I will have them in the next newsletter. I still don't plan to publish it until after the O-320 flies.
Buz

Thank you Gerd!
European Lightning fly-In is a great idea! But I`m afraid that is too far for my Lightning. Smile
May be will meet at Friedrichshafen?

curts63 That is WoodComp SR-3000/3J.
Heaver and expansive but good working constant speed prop.
Seems CHT little higher with it.

What kind of speed and climb are you getting with the Woodcomp propellor? How much hotter are the CHT's ? Any difference in fuel efficiency?

Cruise speed 230-240 km/h (sea level), climb 5 m/s.
Additional lower cowl buffles (see photo) gets temp's in normal area.
FF about 18 l/h.
Can't compare CHT's and fuel efficiency because standard Sensenich prop was never installed.
