List members,

I have received this via email from Rico Schulenburg. AS you will read, he
has purchased Moravia¹s entire inventory and is determined to off the
services required to support LOM engines.

Steve
An aerospace engineer with several years in the aeronautical industry
focused on the maintenance and restoration of Zlin and PZL Wilga aircraft, I
recently started my own business, East Aviation Service. We are a
specialized remanufacturer of LOM and WSK PZL-Kalisz S.A. engines.

As you may be aware, LOM engines are proven, highly-reliable products of
superior quality supported by a long record of engineering excellence.
Since the manufacturer does not provide service or sale of spare parts for
the engines still in use, we established a service organization for LOM
engines. In addition to our own extensive stock of spare parts, we have
acquired the entire spare parts and tool stock of Ontario-based Moravia Inc

Thanks Stephen,

I am currently in a dilemma with the engine for a Meta Sokol I’m restoring. It has an almost-new engine (about 45 hrs total) but I have not got the correct engine log book for it. It has had 3 engines. I have engine 3 but the log book for engine 2. We think the previous owner has it, but he has dementia. We can’t just march up to the door and ask his wife to let us search for it!
LOM will take my engine, check it out, and issue a new log book, but the cost is close to a new engine. I’ll contact Rico to see if he can help.
Cheers: and Merry Christmas.
David

Please do not hesitate to contact us regarding anything about LOM and WSK PZL-Kalisz S.A. engines and also Zlin and PZL Wilga aircrafts. We are here to help. Sincerely,
Rico Schulenburg
