Steve,

My only complaint with this system is the fact that it does not have an internal GPS. The user either relies on the internal GPS in their iPad or Android (not a good idea, as the refresh rate is not very fast on the iPad, and you can lose the GPS signal fairly easily), or you have to use an external GPS like a Bad Elf or other. So you are having to purchase two products and have the cords, antennas and such for two.

Another option that does have a GPS capability is the Stratux -

http://www.stratux.co/

Not trying to compete product for product. I just wanted to point a different option for those who desire ADSB-in on the cheap.

Can you get Stratus with GPS, now?  I have one. No GPS. Rely on tablet. On Mar 22, 2017 1:43 PM, "jarheadpilot82" <jarheadpilot82(at)hotmail.com (jarheadpilot82(at)hotmail.com)> wrote:

I feel sure that you can add a gps to your Stratux. And we are talking about the same thing, right? The DIY ADSB-in Stratux, NOT the Stratus made by Appareo.

I would google "Stratux add GPS" or similar and I am sure you can find your answer. I am not an IT guy nor did I sleep in a Holiday Inn Express last night, but I am guessing a hardware addition and a software update could fix you right up.
