Royden,

Some YAK-55's were delivered without complete air systems. Bottle and starter valve, that was pretty much it. Lots of folks plumbed in their own systems, to duplicate what was in say the 50 or 52. Pretty much ad hoc.

John will have to measure from his compressor to the first piece on his firewall, whatever that is.

Mark

Hello John B

I can go photograph mine, but what exactly are you looking for?

Does your Yak not have an air start tank already plumbed in?
Has it been dismantled and don’t know how it goes back together?
Has a line ruptured?
Is it equipped with a snot valve?
Etc

Regards

Royden

Yak 55 air system: Does anyone have any pictures or other information regarding the plumbing that goes from the air compressor to the air tank?
Thank you.

Subject: V-530 Composite Prop Blades
Looking for anyone with info to compare and contrast the difference
between the V-530C , V-530J and the W-530 composite blades.

There seems to be no info available to show difference in performance or
which blades are optimized for what purpose ie: climb or cruise.

All of these blades should perform better than the stock Russian paddle
blades so if you have experience using one or all of these I'd lie to
speak with you.

Thanks
