I did mine just as a matter of course.  I maintain a 5 year inspection.  I found that my emergency tank was severely pitted and test house would not test it.  This was a time bomb waiting to happen.   I replaced my emergency bottle and main checked good.  Always a good check to be done, but many ignore.
