Hi Guys
Does anybody know roughly what a trailer for a Tri-Gear costs please? And is there anything special that I would need to know about using one? All information and ideas gratefully received!

A closed trailer is likely to be £7500 and upwards. There is a bespoke trailer company in West Sussex that I used www.kompak.co.uk

Hi! Hazel Jackson.
I have a covered box type trailer to transport a Europa TRigear. It needs the maingear spats removed to enable the fuselage to be winched up ramps into the transportation position. The wings and tailplanes stow within the trailer.
I do not hire the trailer out but I am able to give you prices for an aircraft move if you advise from where to where? With you assisting and your insurance provision.
Just prior to last October I recovered a trigear from Troyes and delivered it to Fenny Compton Via The Chunnel then about a month later removed it back to Nottingham for the owner.
Drop me a line and I may be able to assist. I strongly advise a discussion your aircraft is worth more than to be damaged.

Hi Hazel
I bought an excellent trailer by
http://avionic.pl/index.php/pl/kontakt-2/ Laszek Matuszek
from Poland. It's special made for mine Europa Classic. The only information
he had for construction were some photos and the drawing from the AFM.
Price was about € 12'000.- in 2013.
For the Tri-Gear it must be a little wider and the fuselage should turned
to prop side back, giving enough space for the wings.
I don't know where you live, but the best way would be visiting Laszek
with your Europa
for discussion and planing.

Hello,
I have one from https://www.anschau.de/english-version/ . It costs some 17k EUR. The Wheel-pants don't have to be removed and I use it for 6,5 years now to transport my Europa anywhere I want.
I add a photo.

Last time i asked Europa they said they mo longer proce it as other manufacturers are more competitive??
I am trying to find out who?

Hi , what type of trailer do you need ? if it's an eclosed
then the one's others have surjested look ideal. In my case I only need
a basic trailer to take my a/c home once a year for it's annual. I was
fortuneate to have a friend (aircraft fitter) who worked at Manchester
airport who inturn had a friend who designs trailers for racing cars. It
was a few years ago.
If you do some research you should find some metal fabricaters who could
make one up for you. I've attached a couple of pics. I think it cost about
£ 2.500 . the only thing they needed was the wieght and balance of the
a/c.
