KIS4 builder Fabricio and I had a great pair of flights today from St Augustine (KSGJ) to Ocala (KOCF) and back. Here is a photo taken after we got back to the KSGJ hangar.

The offer of some KIS4 "orientation flying" is open to any KIS builder/owner.   Smile

And they would be wise to accept your generous offer.

Very cool Galin, Do you have any tail wheel experience? I'm about a year out from flying!

At Oshkosh this year we met Fabricio's partner Roberto Zanasi, and his wife. Roberto has been doing most of the work on the TR-4. Mark K. gave him a few pointers during their visit.

We also met a Volato 400 builder, Juan Pinhero, he showed us a video on his phone of his first flight. The airplane has a (I believe) O-520 in it, Mark K provided engineering information for the bigger engine install.

Galin,
I was sure hoping to take you up on that offer real soon but once again life, or in this case a wedding of my one and only daughter, got in the way. I sure wish she had decided to elope, would have cost me a lot less. That, along with now being in the design phase of my retirement home has pushed back the final completion of my KIS Cruiser until sometime next spring. I am so damn close but it seems like forever to go. Been waiting for an AS order withthe last of my wiring and fuel system components for over a month now and still no word on shipment. I wonder if I could stretch some 12 ga into 16 ga and 18 ga? Probably not...
I will finish this marathon if it is the last thing I do.....

Galin,

Dear Galin,

I would like to thank you for the opportunity to meet you and “Blanquita” last Thursday. You both are legends for the KIS Community and I’m very glad for what you’ve done for me.

I’m very satisfied to know that I’m building a great plane that will satisfy my needs and bring me a lot of fun.

Now I’m back to Brazil and can’t wait to have my KIS flying like yours. I know that it will take some time, but this experience gave me extra energy to keep going.

Thank you!

Fabricio
