Hi All,
I have 6 Aluminium Fuel Pipes left over from the last batch. I am not intending to order any more so if builders/owners require one please contact me. I can bring them to post in the USA, Canada and UK if necessary. £25 plus postage.
See UK Europa Club website for details about the pipe.
Cheers,
Tim

Hi Rob,Thanks for your email. Just confirm this pipe is for the XS model or Monowheel with the Mod to the fuel intake with larger baggage capacity. The fuel flows through the side intake, down the cobra white plastic and then the pipe, I supply.
See photo.
If that is what you want then I need your address and I will charge you through PayPal £25 plus postage.
Kind regards,
Tim

Hi Rob,
I have 50 x 1,0 mm 6061T6 Alu tube in stock. You would only Need a fuel resistant Silicone or rubber 90 & 45 deg bends and any smells disappear.
Let me know if it is a possibility for you.

Barry

I got a 60° elbow silicone fuel resistant hose with 15cm legs manufactured from Samco (bought via Merlin Motorsports) to replace the original rubber hose. The legs can be cut to length if need be. It costs 67,96 GBP + VAT + shipping.

This way you avoid additional connections. The fuel smell in the Cockpit was gone.

It seems that Merlin is the only distributor!

When I did mine about 10 years ago I used a stainless steel pipe and I just cut the bends from the original pipe and used them, but I think it is time for me to change them as they are quite old now, so I will be buying the elbows from Merlin as well.

Europa also supply a silicone elbow (FS16) as part of Mod 79 (http://www.europa-aircraft.co.uk/updates/mods.php) or (http://www.europa-aircraft.co.uk/upload/Modification%20Bulletin%20No%2079%20(Issue%2003).pdf)

It's about GBP46 + shipping + VAT... might be worth a call...?

Hi Roland, do you pictures available that demonstrate how these are fitted? I guess you meant that you can do with the rubber joining? If so, I really like that approach.

What's the ID of the hose that you ordered? Reason for asking is that you mention 15cm legs, where Merlin's website only shows that length of 102mm ID, so I'm a bit puzzled now. How much length of legs did you actually end up in your install?

BR, Marcel.
PS How are you getting along with your fuel tank?
