Hello all,

About to run the brake lines and wanted to see what opinions are out there for the way to run the lines from the parking brake to the wheels.
The manual says to run them down the center then outboard, 15" from CL and 1" up from the floor then down behind the leg.

Before I go drilling holes, I figured I'd ask to see what others have done.

Here is an image of what I was thinking (over thinking Rolling Eyes ) The red box is where the flap motor is and worried about conflict.

Thank you,
Kyle

Hi Kyle

A couple of pics of my installation. I think you have it spot on.

I added some spiral wrap later to protect from chafing between the pipe, the rudder cables and wiring.

Hello Kalv,

That is some beautiful work! That's pretty much what I was thinking about. I like the conduit sleeve you used. Is that like squished pvc?

/Kyle

Hi Kyle

Yes, oval PVC electrical conduit. Very thin wall - the type you bury in plastered walls.

I secured at the back of the wheel well and aft of the baggage bay. I used one for the brake pipes, one for wiring and one for the radio antenna cable. Keeps everything safe and secure through the tunnel and under the tank which otherwise would be a pain to get access to.

The antenna conduit runs all the way to the rear bulkhead so installing the antenna cable was really easy and will be easy to replace if needed in the future.
