This is as close to a Cozy list as I could find so I hope you all will understand this post. My friend who owns a beautiful Cozy III (three-seater) recently died and I am helping his wife sell the airplane. It has been meticulously maintained and she has all the logs. Full day/night IFR, 150 hp Lycoming, new custom interior and prop just installed. Many extras. Contact me off list.

It would help if we new the pilots name and where it is located and price. Hard to tell anyone about an airplane for sale without the price being known.

Dale,
My neglect of listing the particulars on this Cozy III for sale was more to not abuse the EZ list. However, you are right in commenting that one can not pass along the sale without knowing more about the airplane.
It was owned by Richard Reitz of Clearwater Florida who passed away May 10 of this year. I am trying to help his wife, Bonnie, sell the airplane. It is hangared at the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport (KPIE). It is a three-seater Cozy, built in 1988 and flies with a 150 hp Lycoming O-320-E2A engine. There are 1060 hours on the airframe and the engine has 1060 hours SMOH. It is full day/night IFR with two NARCO nav/coms and a NARCO AT150 transponder with PS Engineering audio control panel. New custom interior and a new fixed pitch prop were just installed. Bonnie has all the logs. The asking price is $75,000, but offers will be considered.
Several people have contacted me and sent the names of people who might help Bonnie and me. I sincerely appreciate this help. Thank you. Oh, yes. DO NOT ARCHIVE.

I have some suggestions for selling your canard.

Has a classified ads section. It both will help you in understanding the market and in listing your aircraft. It also has a members' forum that discusses canards.

Is the most active canard builders forum I've found. It too has a sub-forum for classifieds but it isn't as extensive a sales place but more active discussion place. I'd try there because the folks there might know of someone who is intrested in buying a flying a/c.

Is a guy that acts as a broker between buyers and sellers. He has a listing of many interested folks and sellers. Contact him. He is a wealth of info and very helpful.

extensive listing of aircraft. They have an experimental section then within that section a specific place that presents Long-EZs [with specific places for Rutan designs, Cozy IVs, Quickies....]

Lastly, you can go the ebay route. There is usually 1-3 carnards and/or partially builts listed at any one point in time.

online ad that is free. I have used it and have
gotten many e-mails regarding my kit that finally
sold via controller.com
