After all the camera talk and ideas put forth, and....having about 3000 hours behind a pretty good video system in the nose of an airplane, I also tried one out. My neighbor had it gathering dust after their kids outgrew it. Like Vince's setup this system is very portable and remote, and removable for use in multiple airplanes. Works great!

     It's used for baby's room and is IR if you like night flying (like me). It's a bit more expensive but works great and has no wires. I taped the remote camera in my right landing light hole, works great.
