Anybody have any ideas about what's going on? My avionics have worked like a charm until about two flight hours ago. The side tone on my SL-30 went from normal, to incredibly loud. It still transmits and receives well, but the side tone is so loud, it's uncomfortable. It's installed as the second Nav/Com, number one is a 300XL, it works great.

It's adjustable via the system menus (the manual covers it). Try adjusting
it first, but if you have to crank it way down, like below 20, you might
have an audio panel issue (assuming you have an audio panel).

Are both radios on the same freq? Sometimes this will cause all kinds of
wacky results.
