701 Wing painting

Initially, I only painted the fuselage and tail on my 701. When I get

ready

to paint the wings I will drain the tanks, remove the slats and flapperons

and then remove the wings..

For painting, can I safely hang the wings from the slat attach support

brackets?

Yes, there is where we hold our wings for painting. Works great if you test first to hang the wings at your best "painting height".

To prevent painting from -running drops- (sorry for my english) we also hang them from the alerion hinges to put the surface to paint in 45 deg. worked great. Larry my brother is the expert painter.
