Here's a photo of the engines temporarily mounted.  The struts are attached to the original mount with Lord mounts.  The engines are each mounted on the struts with their own set of Barry mounts.

Looks nice.  I wonder what would happen if the belt broke on one engine

while they were in full throttle climbout?  A free wheeling prop on one side

and full thrust on the other would sure make it want to twist those struts

and lord mounts.  Kirk

Check with the New Kolb Co.  My buddy just got a new 447 and after  checking 

out prices with other distributors, Kolb offered the best deal.   Included 

extras such as: engine mount plate, cables, muffler assembly, fuel  pump, etc.  

As I understand, it's like getting the engine kit part of a  Kolb kit.
