a old school approach yahoo groups can help keep you in touch and meet michigan pilots and $100 hamburger wan to bees, our idea is simple put as many people as possible in touch with this group posting is easy ,with in 30 minutes of posting this group and inviting others to join a guy 25 miles from me that i did not even know contacted me by joining. he owns a ppc but hasn't flown in 3 years because he didn't know anyone close to him

https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/flymichigan

Good morning! https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/flymichigan
I am Malcolm Brubaker. I have started this group in the hopes of stimulating interest in all areas of aviation - not just a small niche.
I myself am a light sport pilot but I came up through the Ultralight ranks. My first aircraft was a Quicksilver MX. I learned to fly it the old fashion way - I watched a video . Several years, aircraft and over 1000 hours in the air, I now own and fly a Rans Coyote S6ES.
My wife, Jeanne, is half-way to getting her private pilot ticket, She is training and has soloed in a Cessna 150. Her first airborne experience was in a 2 seat Quicksilver MX II. Years later, she went for a flight in my Kitfox II and the rest, as they say, is history.
This forum is not to be dedicated only to those who have or are persuing a pilot license, or to those who fly craft that do not require a license. I hope to encourage anyone who has an interest in any area of aviation to come, share, question, and just generally enjoy the availability of the company of others who are like minded.
The only thing I ask is that we keep this forum in the venue of aviation. There is no reason for any grammar police, or other nitpicking. Feel free to speak your mind, but stay mindful of the real purpose - to ENCOURAGE others to participate and enjoy our world of wings and flight.
we hope this letter and invitation gets passed around and used by any and all michigan area aviation clubs or anyone that has a tie to michigan .
i use the daily digest option becouse it seems easyer to me to just skim over the topics and decisde if i would like to read up on the topic the daily digust also keeps my in box from getting cluttered as i am on over a dozen diferent yohoo user groups .
