Folks,

thought you'd like a look at the underside of a Lightning looking rearward during a touch-and-go at St pete/Clearwater Airport. This is my first attempt using GoPro Editor software so I'm learning alot....shot with a GoPro Hero 3. We land long on Rw 04 because there's a pretty good hump at the intersection of Rw 36 and you could be airborn again if you came in a little hot.At the beginning of the clip, I'm waiting a little while holding short for traffic to land. (Music will kick in after I start rolling; about a minute or so into the clip)

I'm also working to get an acceptable neutral density filter to block out the prop when I turn the camera around and look forward through the prop.

I hope you like this clip....let me know what you think.

Yep, good job Bear - fun movie. But now tell the truth, did you really intend to install it backwards to get the view of a bomber tail / belly gunner, or did you put it on backwards?
Just kidding.

Gary,
I just used one of the small adhesive mounts which came with the camera and stuck it to the exterior part of the lower cowling. Make sure you clean any wax off the plane where you intend to attach the mount. Also let it set for about 24 hours. I'll take a pic of it tomorrow and send it out.
