Has anyone had experience with this flap control mechanism?

While I am regaining neck movement this device might assist me in making flap settings easier and more accurate. I am not yet familiar with the standard flap DC motor and foreword/back up/down switch but I guess it works in an identical way as my Alpi300. Any assistance would be much appreciated.
