I checked with Fletchair and they say they dont have a STC for the
Tiger and a larger Oil Cooler ... do you know what
part # the Niagara oil cooler is?

Does any one know of any other STC for an upgraded oil cooler on a aa5b?
copies of 337 work for over sized oil cooler also might help.

[Levy] An overhaul/exchange oil cooler is a good option if your
current cooler
is getting plugged up and you want to restore flow -- check with
Pacific Oil
Cooler in El Monte, California (1-800-866-7335, www.oilcoolers.com,
email:
sales(at)oilcoolers.com) -- it will run a few hundred for the
overhaul. The
other option is to replace your 5-row Steward Warner cooler with a
Niagara
6-row cooler -- Fletchair has both the cooler and the STC. That's
what's on
my Tiger, and the oil temps run very cool -- always 180F or a bit
below except
for Vy climbs in the summer at high altitude, where it gets up
around 210F.

Ken Blackman at AriMods NW put a larger cooler on my AA5B last year. Try him at AirModsNW.com.
