The good stuff is 3M catalog # 4011... has red peel-off backing on it and is

gray in color.

Is rated by 3M to hold one pound for every four inches of tape... I stuck

one VG on the wall overnight as

a test and had a devil of a time getting it off...  I have recently seen

the 4011 in the local Home Depot,

so some of them are still carrying it...

The white 3M tape is rated for less load.... never tried it.
