it seems the bozo that built my plane only used 2 rivites instead of the 6 the plans call for when building the Aileron bell crank ass- just an FYI this plane flew 300 hrs before one of the allum rivets gave away, � a pre flite inspection found the problem the other aileron bell crank was still intact and working well with only 2 rivets . the fix was easy requiring a inspection plate installed under the bell crank, removal was easy and fast
I used standard AC rivets, However I would always rather be flying than wrenching on a plane.�
