I’m posting this to Kolblist subscribers first.
I recently swapped my Rotax 377 off of my original Firestar for a new dual ignition Hirth 2702, 40 horsepower engine.
This 377 Rotax has approximately 80 hours since it was new. It had been preserved and sealed in plastic at 20 hours for 28 years. I put it back into service last May and flew it for about 54 hours last season and it served me well. This is a point ignition engine. The original 28X66” prop had lost proper pitch over the years of storage so I had a new Tennessee Prop made with composite leading edges made for it. I’ve flown with the new prop for about 10 hrs. And it’s spot on. This engine and prop are a great running combination.
If any of you Kolbers are interested, it’s For Sale and ready to fly.
Engine : 377 Rotax and 2:59 ratio gearbox with new 28X66 prop. $1500.00 + Frt. to your place. It also comes with spare parts and Rotax tools and timing gauge.
Thanks, for more info. Call 951-965- 4369
