I get a loud continuous buzz when in formation with one particular other pilot. I fly regularly with a large formation team and his is the only plane that causes the noise. It always happens when he joins into parade with me. I have an Icom 200. Another interesting point is that I can often hear comms from other aircraft 50-60 miles away that others in my flight cannot hear. Is it a setting in the Icom? Any thoughts?
