Tried it today and could not start it.
When the air valve was open, we had 33 of air.
After 4 attempts we ran out of air, and no flying.

What is the proper procedure to start the plane?

Got feed it fuel with primer (right hand) as you push start button and then move left hand to throttle and work it...it should start.

his 172 or other type.

Yes and the engine actually tried to start a couple of times.

Not getting the rear mag back on common even for experienced CJ pilots.
