Snot valve, constantly builds pressure. Normal/Not?

Brandon, To disassemble the check valves does take some muscle. (I think there are 4 chinamen on a 4-foot bar wrench tightening these things sometimes). You can get a kit from Doug Sapp to replace the rubber (the best kind) in the check valves. A lot of times there is corrosion there and you may need a whole new check valve but clean it up real good. Most of the time its just the rubber that's bad. IAC clean it up good then I coat mine with a thin layer of boat axle grease. (That seems to help alot on the corrosion issue).

Thank you very much!! I'll disassemble again and get to work rebuilding. I have the kits with the rubber washers, etc. already, so hopefully I can get them apart and installed.

some of toughs air valves and cylinders have set screws that are partially covered in paint if you take them apart without removing the set screw the threads are ruined.

Jill Gernetzke can also repair/rebuild them, but it takes the force of a pneumatic hammer to get them apart.
