I use the Mountain High oxygen system in my RV10. I use the demand system and it works quite well. This past winter, I mounted their EZ-Boom cannula to my BoseA20 headset and it has really made a big difference in comfort....till it fell off a couple weeks ago. It appears the special 3M double stick 3/4" pads they provide are quite temperature sensitive. I left the headset in the hangar and found the boom in the seat. My best guess, it was subjected to 90-95° temp. I reattached the boom and the following flight, it fell off during takeoff on a sunny 86° day.

I am looking for a solution and prefer one that will not negatively impact my Bose A20 surface. Any suggestions?

Oh, it should be noted that the first time it fell off, it left the headset clean. The second time, the adhesion failed on the center median surface....leaving the "adhesive" on the headset..

Depending on which 3M tape was used, I would suggest replacing it with 3M VHB. I’ve bonded metal to metal and once this stuff cures, its not coming off.
