Guys: I sent a blog a few weeks ago about my troubles with my TruTrak
Sorcerer not working. Thanks for the reply from Bob and Dan. I have an
older (2012 green display and trim module with a potentiometer) Sorcerer
in the 1st RV10 we built and a newer Sorcerer (blue display and trim
module with out a potentiometer) in the second RV10 we built 18 mo ago.
The new one does not work period. We have had Mid-Continent (warranty
repair for TruTrak--now Bendix King) send us three different control
Heads and two trim modules all of which don't work when we swap
components with the old 2012 AP.
Mid-Continent can't (won't) fix them and can not get any help from
Bendix King. I would surely like to get a working Sorcerer ATI
autopilot to put in the new RV10. Do any of you know of someone who has
an older green display and trim module with a potentiometer that might
be available, Perhaps removed for a panel upgrade. I certainly would
not recommend any new "TruTrak units from Bendix King as they will not
offer any support. Thanks. #41087 & #41862
