Oh no! Two wonderful people who were the best! I will miss them & their terrific advice & friendship.

It is with great sadness, that I must inform everyone of the passing of Doug and Betty Hempstead. The Hempsteads lost there lives on Monday morning in a terrible car accident just outside the neighborhood where they lived. Doug and Betty were the heart and soul of LSA America, and will be terribly missed. There Service are going to be held at the 1st United Methodist Church of Macon North Carolina on Saturday the 13th (at) 2:00. I would like to thank everyone for your support during this tough time, the Allegro was there life.

This is so sad and unexpected. I just spoke with Doug two weeks ago about my Allegro and he was enthusiastic about helping me with my plane. Then he invited me to attend a fly-in at his airport in May. I for one will miss Betty and Doug immensely. Prayers for their family.
