Is there anyone who did not like the MC-5 cylinders that came with the kit and went with something else? If so, I would be interested in any MC-5 and/or MC-4 brake cylinders that you want to get out of your garage. Anyone found a great deal on these anywhere? Also, looking for landing gear parts, wheels, tires, or just about anything that came with the kit that you did not like and went a separate way.

Let me know what you have and what you want for it.

Thanks,

Larry,

After trying to go the cheap way with Azusa
mechanical brakes with dismal results, I bought this
hydraulic upgrade kit:

I particularly like the master cylinders. They
are much smaller than the Matco ones. I do not know
if they would be a direct replacement for Matco,
however. If you have rudder pedals from the factory,
they may not fit. I modified my rudder pedals to fit
them. I can measure them today and get back to you.

This set of brakes hold full static RPM on my
Corvair HDS without any problems.

Well, They are a little cheaper, but I have already set up my bird for the Matco ones. I have custom made pedals with my bird's N number in them. I did save the link for my building partner who is somewhat behind me in building. He may go that route.

Thanks,

Larry
