Yeah, it is cold up here where we are (on vacation in the FL panhandle). I
went outside today and had to wear a jacket and stocking cap as it was in
the low 50's. Man, I can't wait for summer. Smile

I-i-i-it's c-c-cold u-u-p here! -20F this a.m. so school's got
closed all over the state. I think it did make it up to zero
today when it got warm, so we got to wear shorts again. Now the
AWOS is back to -11 and dropping. Did you know an RV-10 can
climb out at 4500fpm with a Hartzell Prop and IO-540? Wink

-2 tonight without the windchill here in Dayton. Snow tomorrow. Kids off
school today, tomorrow and probably Wednesday. I wondered where winter was
and now I know. Compared to here, the panhandle of FL sounds pretty good

I didn't say WE didn't have girls in bikinis here too....they're just
lots bigger and well insulated with the hair and blubber. This is
the Cheese state after all.

Don't know if it's Bush's fault, but wild temp swings are abnormal - it was
60 in January in MI and now it's -10.

Too cold to work in the shop - even with our new wood-fired furnace.

Every good Democrat blames Bush for everything. Now that Van is off the
hook, I am sure all of our building challenges are because of Bush as
well.

Weather forecasters, Economists and Political pundits and always right
less than half the time. They all get paid no matter what they say is
happening.

And I know the guy who created the internet.

Before HRII flight this morning I clicked three times on my handheld as I
arrived at APV. Winds calm, visibility "more than 10 miles", temps in the
mid 60's and new addition to in the APV pattern...a PT-26 Fairchild Cornell.
Just purchased with the new owner getting some stick time with his

house to split fire wood if it ever got that cold in Texas.

Well, the last winter we lived in MN, we went 37 days with the temp never
getting above 0. (Then it got all the way up to +2.) They only closed the
schools one day - when the wind-chill hit -90! Yep, we moved south the next
summer.

YOU'RE A SCHMUCK!!! I mean really man you really are a
SCHMUCK!!! Braggin' not only on the heat but the
views?!?!? Come on man, there are some things that just
are better off left unsaid! Hope you feel good about
yourself...and you probably do...as all of us would too if
we lived there too. But that really is LOW and to me you
have an RV-10 and I get to go work on my '89 nissan pickup
restoration project in my 5 degree garage today here in
Michigan.

But, I'm between jobs, every day is a Saturday, wife just
brought me in breakfast... negotiating a position in San
Diego this week, life is good its just how you look at it.
